Luo Keng Central Hospital
Luo Keng Central Hospital, also known as Cixian Xiao Hospital locates in Luokeng Town, Xinhui District in Jiangmen City. It was built in the year 1951 with a total area of 15 acres. It is a centre that has multiple purposes, including medical treatment, vaccination, health care, and clinical teaching. It is a national first-class hospital, baby-friendly hospital, and Province Hundred Civilized Health Centre. The new General Practice Hospital building completed construction and opened to the general public on 28th October 2014 with a total area of 890.42 square meters ( construction area is 5443.74 square meters). The Lam Dong Wo General Building of the hospital is named after Dong-Wo Lam. The hospital has professional teams. The operating rooms of the hospital designed for general surgery, orthopedics, and obstetrics and gynecology.
Luo Keng Central Hospital accomplished its re-construction and opened the Elderly Nursing Rehabilitation Centre in January 2016 that provide patients with personalized medical treatment, nursing, pension, rehabilitation, and other services. The rehabilitation center has two levels and a total of 56 beds, and with the help of donations, we currently have 4 doctors, 2 nurses, and 3 nursing assistants. Our health centre is open 24/7, and all the staffs had professional training before. Every day, we have doctors or nurses check on patients at noon to see how they are doing, we will measure the blood pressure level, and the undergoes physical examination of patients.
Additionally, the centre also regulates the working hours of the elderly and guarantee they have enough rest. The centre accommodates single room, double rooms, and shared room according to everyone needs. There are curtains in between two beds so the elderly can enjoy some privacy. The layout of the room and the design of the corridors cater to characteristics for elderlies, we improve the safety factor and ensure that the elderly convalesce in a safe environment.
The centre charges different prices according to individual needs. The different levels of care are ranging from CNY 2,700 to CNY 3,500 monthly per person. We also carry out medical and physical treatments specific for Geriatric Syndromes and offer vaccination services for common diseases and frequently-occurring diseases that target the elderly.
